SINCE 1986
Elinvar celebrated our 30th anniversary of recruiting leaders for mission critical executive and senior leadership positions in 2016. We are excited to continue our work and are proud of the impact the leaders our clients have hired are having on North Carolina and our communities.

OUR NAME
Elinvar is an organization that thrives on transformation, so it is fitting that we chose the name “Elinvar” during our first transformation in 1996. We took the opportunity to exit the franchise we started with and needed a new name. We did not know where our journey was going to take us, so we selected a name that spoke to our core strengths.
Elinvar is an alloy developed in the 19th century for its consistent strength and flexibility. It was used in railroad watches because of the critical need for accuracy in time keeping on the railroad. We believe that these attributes - consistent results for our clients delivered in a flexible way to fit each organization we serve - are critical for sustained success in today’s ever-changing world.
Choosing an alloy as our namesake also speaks to the alchemy that happens when we join forces with clients to tackle their leadership challenges. We partner with you with the foundation of shared values and determination to have positive impact on our world.
