With a decade of business experience in finance, general management and human resources, Pattie Mills knows first hand the impact top talent combined with successful team dynamics has on meeting strategic and economic business goals. Her breadth of experience in operations and hiring best practices with Red Hat, Wachovia and Circuit City serves as the foundation for her success as a search consultant.
Pattie's recruiting experience includes positions in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Technical Support teams. In addition to identifying top talent for mission critical positions, her expertise in guiding hiring managers through an effective search process is a key factor in the success she brings to Elinvar clients.
Pattie is a NC native and completed her undergraduate business degree at Wake Forest University. She completed her MBA at NC State University where she was awarded a graduate assistantship. She has also completed extensive continuing education in various management and hiring topics.
As the 2009 Vice President of Programs for Raleigh Wake Human Resource Management Association (RWHRMA), Pattie is extremely involved with the local HR community and able to stay current on key HR issues, especially as they relate to recruitment and talent management. She is also a member of the national SHRM chapter as well as an additional local chapter, TSHRM.
Pattie also enjoys giving back to the local education community. She speaks to undergraduate students in the NCSU College of Management about various HR topics, assists students with resume preparation and mock interviewing, and works with students individually regarding overall job search advice. She is also a frequent speaker in NCSU MBA classes and is currently a mentor for the NCSU Chapter of National Association of Women MBA's.
