Closely Held Businesses
The case studies below highlight the work we have done for Closely Held Businesses.
Nomaco is a family owned business based in Zebulon, NC. The President and CEO, Lars von Kantzow, joined the company in 2015 and retained Elinvar to work with him, the family board members, and his senior leaders, to conduct the search for their VP of Human Resources. Identifying a strategic HR leader who would fit the culture of this innovative company and the passionate leadership of the family board and executive team, was the goal of this search.
“We just completed a very successful search for a VP of HR. The entire Elinvar team did a great job and we couldn't be happier with their process, professionalism and communications. They spent a lot of time with us upfront understanding Nomaco, the position, our needs and the "perfect match" we were looking for. The process was both efficient and effective. We were presented with a final short list of 4 very qualified candidates, and Elinvar did a great job guiding our decision process. Throughout the search process, communications were frequent, effective and to the point. It was a pleasure working with the Elinvar team, and we certainly plan on using their services again whenever our next search need comes up.”
Elinvar has been a search partner for Railinc CEO, Allen West, since his appointment to this position in 2006. Searches have included finance, marketing and human resource leaders. This technology company has a unique culture that is impacted by being the wholly-owned subsidiary of the American Association of Railroads. With a focus on cutting edge technology that supports a huge industry, expectations are high for the results generated by Allen’s team.
“We have been working productively with Elinvar for over 10 years. The relationship has remained strong because of the quality hires we have received through their mature and thorough search and placement process. Railinc executives hired through Elinvar not only meet the basic qualifications of the position but, more importantly, fit with our culture and the rest of the management team.”
