Amanda is a leadership development expert and executive coach who capitalizes on her 20+ years of experience on two continents. She specializes in change leadership, talent retention and development, developing high performance teams, influence skills and motivational leadership. Amanda was affiliated with the Center for Creative Leadership as adjunct faculty and executive coach where she served as a classroom trainer in the The Looking Glass Experience, the Coaching for Development program, and the Foundations of Leadership program. Independently, she has designed and delivered training for multiple organizations to develop their internal coaching capability.
Amanda relishes working with diverse cultures and organizations, in part due to having lived and worked in Europe for three years. For example, she coaches executives in large, global pharmaceutical companies as well as designs training and coaches leaders in a start-up biotech firm. Her clients come from the financial, health, manufacturing, human services, education, government and military sectors.
Warm and insightful, Amanda is a strong listener who also “tells it like it is” and challenges clients to take the next step. She rated among the top 5% of CCL coaches in client satisfaction.
Amanda’s expertise stems from 15 years of front-line experience in the public and private sectors prior to her work as a leadership development specialist. She was a manager in both the health and education industries, an associate professor at Duke University Medical Center, and co-founder and managing partner of a consulting organization.
Amanda earned a two year certificate in French from GLTT in Belgium.
