Beth is an Executive Coach and senior Organizational Development practitioner with over 12 years of experience in the field of Talent Management, and 10 years experience as a corporate Business Consultant. Through her consulting business, Theories in Practice, LLC, Beth serves as an Executive Coach for key talent and global leaders, and facilitates her clients through an intensive customized feedback and development planning process. As an Organization Development consultant, Beth designs and implements corporate leadership development, change leadership, succession planning, on-boarding, and internal coaching programs. She is passionate about the development of emerging talent, high potentials and global leadership in organizations.
Most recently, Beth was a founding partner in a start-up firm, Tilt, Inc.; specializing in assessments and training focused on Transcendent Leadership and Coaching. Beth’s role was product development, new business operational activities, and the facilitation of training for leadership coaches and consultants around the globe. Beth has recently re-located to London with her family to continue her research in the field of Transcendent Leadership through the pursuit of her PhD.
Beth is not only known as a trusted partner and coach, but also a problem solver and effective business consultant as she understands corporate culture and has practical business experience. Beth started her career at Nortel Networks and progressed quickly through the leadership ranks serving in senior positions in Marketing, IT, Operations, and Human Capital. Some of her most notable accomplishments included key roles in the development of a global Change Leadership initiative, the implementation of the first North American internal Coaching Network; the integration of SAP through Nortel’s supply chain, process development for a Wireless start-up, and a core team leader for Nortel's re-design of their key talent and executive leadership programs.
Following her tenure at Nortel, Beth founded her primary organization development consulting business, Theories in Practice. Over the past 12 years she has served as a Senior Organization Development consultant for companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Red Hat, GlaxoSmithKline, Biogen Idec, SciQuest, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, RBC Centura and Wells Fargo.
Beth is passionate about volunteerism. Her great-grand father was the benefactor of Walnut Grove to Jackson-Feild Homes for Girls in Virginia. Beth now serves on the Board of Trustees.
